Tell Chipmaster how far you are, how much of it is green, and which way the ground runs. It tells you the club — from your distances, not a generic chart.
What it does
- Runs on your own numbers. Enter how far each club chips. The app starts with typical amateur distances so it works before you have measured anything, and marks them as estimates until you do.
- Real carry and roll. Loft decides how far a chip runs out, and rough eats roll about twice as fast as the green. Both are in the model, calibrated against measured shots and a study of roughly 6,000 chips.
- Learns from your misses. Log a chip as short, close or long and the club's distance tunes itself — in small steps that shrink as the evidence builds, so it settles instead of chasing your last bad chip.
- On your wrist. The Apple Watch app gives you the answer standing over the ball, without taking the phone out.
- No account, no signal needed. Nothing is uploaded anywhere. It works in the middle of a course with no bars.
Nothing leaves your phone
Chipmaster has no accounts, no servers and makes no network requests at all. Your clubs live on your device. Read the privacy policy — it is short, because there is nothing to tell.
