Privacy Policy
Chipmaster collects no personal data whatsoever. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no trackers and no third-party software development kits. It makes no network requests of any kind.
What the app stores
Chipmaster saves the settings you enter so they are still there next time:
- your chipping distance for each club
- the loft of each club, and any name you gave it
- which clubs are in your bag
- whether you read distances in yards or metres
- the adjustment the app has learned from chips you logged as short, close or long
All of it is stored on your device by iOS, in the app's own storage. It is never transmitted to us, because there is nowhere to transmit it to — we run no servers.
Apple Watch
If you use the Apple Watch app, those same settings are copied between your iPhone and your watch so both give the same answer. That transfer happens directly between your two devices through Apple's WatchConnectivity system. It does not pass through us.
Purchases
If you buy the in-app unlock, the purchase is handled entirely by Apple. We never see your name, payment details or Apple Account. Apple gives us only anonymous, aggregated sales figures. Apple's handling of that transaction is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Children
Chipmaster is suitable for all ages and collects nothing from anyone, children included.
Deleting your data
Delete the app. Everything it saved goes with it. There is no copy anywhere else, and nothing for us to delete on your behalf.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date above. If a future version of the app ever collects anything, that will be said here plainly and in the App Store listing before it ships.
