Chipmaster is made by one person. Write to me and you get me, usually within a day or two.
Open My Clubs and type what each club actually chips. Until you do, every club is marked as an estimate — those are typical amateur numbers so the planner works on day one, not a measurement of your game.
On a practice green, play five or six comfortable chips with one club and pace out where they finish. Enter the shortest as the minimum and the longest as the maximum. That band is what the app plans with.
Each time you log a chip as short, close or long, the app nudges that club's distance. The steps get smaller as shots accumulate, so the number settles rather than swinging with your last bad chip. It will never drift more than 30% from what you entered — beyond that the entered number is simply wrong and should be corrected. To start over, use Reset on that club.
Because it only matters once the ball lands short of the green. A chip that pitches on the putting surface and runs out barely cares what was in front of it. One that has to cross rough first loses roll fast — rough eats it about twice as quickly as green does.
Tap Restore Purchases in the app, on the same Apple Account you bought it with. The unlock is a one-time purchase and restores free on any device you own.
Open the Watch app on your iPhone, scroll to Available Apps, and install Chipmaster there. Your clubs copy across by themselves once both apps have been opened.
Tell me — that is the most useful mail I get. Say which club, how far, how much green, and where the ball actually finished.
